The Filho Family
Laura, it was an absolute pleasure to capture these priceless moments of you and Bryce with your adorable baby girl during your newborn session. I cannot begin to express how touched I was to witness the joy that you and Bryce share in your new role as parents.
Raelynn is such a beautiful baby, and so tiny! With these photos, you’ll always be able to remember just how small she started out and how perfect it felt to cradle her in your arms. It will be a treat for her too, as she grows, to look back on these photos and know how much she was loved since the very beginning.
She’ll also be able to see how much she has grown. Wouldn’t it be fun to take a new photo each year that captures her hand relative to yours? Or even her size compared to Benji, who did an outstanding job keeping still for a quick photo with her?
That’s something I have fond memories of from when my boys were little. They were always so excited to measure and track their height to mine. It seems like it didn’t take them that long to catch up, which thrilled them no end. I, on the other hand, would have loved for them to grow a little slower. Now the oldest three tower over me and the fourth is just inches away.
Life can be hectic at times, and the years truly do rush by. Be sure to savor ordinary, everyday moments. I think you’re off to a great start and imagine you’ll create many wonderful memories together, reading books from your baby shower at bedtime or cuddled up together in the corner of your couch.
These ordinary, often forgotten, moments are the ones that I think truly matter. And I have no doubt that with Bryce, your family, and friends by your side, you’ll create many beautiful memories in the years to come.
Here are just a few of my favorite photos from your first in-home newborn photography session. I hope they remind you of Raelynn’s little toes and fingers and her sweet personality for many, many years to come. Enjoy!
xo, Theresa
