Erie Family Photographer
Celebrate love.
Relaxed, heartfelt photography for families near Erie, Colorado.
I work with moms like you who value love and connection. It’s the unscripted, in-between moments that light us up—not stiff, overly posed perfection.
It’s all about love, laughter and connection.
Your life is made up of messy, mundane, and magical moments.
Cleaning up spills, wiping off dirty hands and faces, driving kids around, looking for lost shoes, remembering to pack snacks, snuggling on the couch, and settling in for storytime at the end of a long day. Ordinary everyday moments that will one day feel like long lost treasures.
You want to remember this season of life. You want reminders of these kind, creative, curious little humans who grow too fast and are so enjoyable in totally different ways. You want beautiful photos, of you with your family, that capture your connection and proclaim: “This is who we are—warm, joyful, full of life and unconditional love.”

I’m an Erie-based family photographer who’s first and foremost a mom. I believe your love deserves to be seen and celebrated. Life isn’t about posed perfection—it’s about togetherness, the shared experiences, and unique bonds that make your family yours.
You don’t have to worry about stiff poses or getting everything “just right.” I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way, making sure your session feels comfortable, fun, and—most importantly—true.
We’ll capture real moments—of you with your family—that are worth remembering. Whether it’s the joy in your child’s laughter, the way they fit in your arms, a shy smile, or a spontaneous burst of energy.
“To be fully seen by somebody and be loved anyhow – this is a human offering that can border on miraculous.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

Answers to your questions.
When is the best time for outdoor family photos in Colorado?
For outdoor sessions, I typically schedule about 90 minutes before sunset—that’s when the light is soft and flattering. In-home sessions are usually held mid-morning, when natural light indoors is at its best. If you’re hoping for mountain views, fall color, or wildflowers, just let me know what you have in mind and I’ll help you choose the best time of year for your session.
Where will our session take place?
I’m happy to recommend spots that photograph beautifully and will work well for your family. The location doesn’t need to be epic—often, the most meaningful photos happen in simple spaces where you can just be yourselves. Whether it’s a park, an open field, or even your home, we’ll find the right fit together.
We feel awkward in front of the camera, will you help us?
Absolutely. Most people don’t feel at ease in front of a camera (myself included). I’ll gently guide you with easy posing prompts—yes, even what to do with your hands—so you’re never left wondering. You’ll be able to relax, be yourselves, and walk away with photos that feel connected and true to you.
We’re pretty busy—do we have to schedule any in-person appointments?
Not at all. I know how full life can be, which is why everything—from viewing your proofs to selecting your package and placing print orders—can be done online, at your convenience. Of course, if you’d like help choosing your photos or designing wall art, I’m happy to guide you. But there’s no pressure to meet in person.
Do you travel?
Yes! Your session includes up to 40 miles of roundtrip travel from Erie, Colorado. If you have a location in mind that’s a bit farther, just let me know—I’m happy to provide a custom quote for the additional travel.
