Picture Day

November 15, 2025

Celebrate your martial artist and the confidence they’re building.

Real school photos for real kids—capturing their personality, confidence, and the spark they bring to every class.

Gone are the stiff poses and forced smiles!

There’s a new way to do picture day—one that celebrates personality.

Because your child deserves a photo that truly reflects who they are at this moment, not just how they look.

These sessions are designed to feel relaxed and fun, so your child’s true personality can shine through. The result? Photos they’ll love—and you’ll cherish.

Hi! I’m Theresa

Glamper & World Traveler

I’m a family photographer who’s first and foremost a mom. I understand that not every moment is picture-perfect—and that’s okay.

Whether your kids are all smiles or doing their own thing on Picture Day, we’ll have fun and capture who they are in this season of childhood.

And if your child feels nervous, that’s completely normal. I’ll be there to guide them every step of the way. With a relaxed approach and some fun prompts, your child will be encouraged to laugh, move, and simply enjoy the moment.

Picture Day Packages

After Picture Day, you’ll receive a link to view the proofing gallery—organized by student so you can easily find your child’s photos. Once you’ve had a chance to look through them, simply choose the package that feels right for your family and order your favorites right from the gallery.

Confidence, character, and connection.

More than a picture—every smile, stance, and spark of pride tells a story.

Martial arts builds more than skill; it nurtures focus, respect, and self-confidence. Picture Day is a chance to celebrate all of that—the skills they’re learning on the mat and the encouragement that begins at home.

Because behind every confident kick or quiet bow is a parent cheering them on, helping them show up, week after week. These photos honor both—the growing independence of your child and the love and support that helped them get here.

Questions about picture day?

What can I expect from a picture day with Theresa Pelser Photography?

Picture Day with me is relaxed, organized, and actually fun. I make the most of my time with each student—helping them feel comfortable and capturing real smiles and natural expressions. Afterward, families can view an online proofing gallery of the best photos—so you can choose your favorites and order only what you love.

Do we have to preorder?

No, there’s no minimum or upfront cost. Families simply choose their favorite photos after Picture Day and select the package that best fits their needs.

What should students wear?

To capture your martial artist at their best, please have them arrive in full uniform—freshly washed and neatly pressed—with their current belt securely tied.

How long will it take to get our photos?

About two weeks after Picture Day, you’ll receive a link to your online proofing gallery where you can view and choose your favorite photos. The gallery will remain open for two weeks for ordering.

Print orders will be delivered to the school within three weeks after the ordering deadline, and digital files will be emailed within the same timeframe.

Can we also get sibling shots?

Absolutely—as long as we plan for it! Just sign each child (and the sibling group) up for an available slot so I can photograph them individually and together. That way, we’ll have time for each without feeling rushed.

What if my child misses picture day?

Unfortunately, I’m not able to reschedule individual Picture Day sessions. I know things come up—hopefully, they’ll be able to join in next time!

Do you photograph instructors?

Yes! I offer a complimentary headshot for each staff member and instructor present on Picture Day for the school’s use. If an instructor isn’t signed up for a slot, I’ll photograph them briefly after the last student session.

Ready to be in the picture too?

Your kids will treasure these photos of themselves—and they’ll love having photos with you even more. Let’s photograph your family together, just as you are: connected, joyful, and proud of how far you’ve come.
