I’ve had a blast photographing this family the past few years but this maternity session is my favorite session of theirs by far! And not because it’s extra special… they are about to become a family of five! Six if we count Sadie, the four-legged member of the family.

I was a little worried when the wind picked up and clouds moved in late the day of their session. Given the time of year, and that we live in Colorado, the weather can be unpredictable. Fortunately, we were able to proceed with their maternity session as planned without getting blown away. The light was soft and beautiful, and I just love the location. The large trees and lake make a beautiful backdrop to this delightful family. While the light and location were fabulous, mom and her baby bump were definitely the stars of the show! Especially in those cute maternity overalls!

Congratulations, Salimeno family! I can’t wait to meet your little one!
