The Mallett Family
I can’t decide what captivated me more during the Mallett family’s newborn photography session. The eight pounds of adorableness, topped with a bow. Her delightful big sister, accomplished at counting her baby sister’s toes. The look of pure adoration in their mother’s eyes as she soaked in this momentous occasion. Or the way all these ladies were loved on by the man in their lives.
The look of love
It’s photos like these that light me up inside. There’s no elaborate lighting or studio set up, and no trendy props. Just a family, snuggled together on the parents’ bed on a Sunday morning. And love. Lots and lots of ordinary, beautiful love. I believe memories like these are a gift. I imagine that one day, when these little girls are grown, they will look at these photos and be filled with joy knowing that they are loved.
Abby and David, thank you for inviting me into your home. I’m smitten with your family and am so excited for you to see your full gallery! It’s simply bursting at the seams with the love you feel for each other. You’ve already learned firsthand how quickly this newborn season flies by, so I have no doubt you’ll make the most of every moment.
I’m so grateful to your friends, the Portillos, for recommending me to you after their newborn session. Without families like both of yours, it would be so much harder for me to do what I love; capture joyful moments to be treasured and remembered. Now and forever.
