Have you ever met a couple who are just so obviously head-over-heels in love? Who laugh, joke, giggle and enjoy the small just being together? I have, and I’ll never forget it! From the moment that Inna and Nathan stepped out of the car for their engagement session at Waneka Lake, almost two years ago, there was non-stop joy, love. and laughter. In every look and touch they shared.

As a portrait photographer, a couple like this is a dream come true! They were up for everything I suggested no matter how strange it may have seemed. I mean, let’s be honest. What’s normal about twirling or standing nose to nose in a field? Nothing. Absolutely nothing! But it looks fantastic on camera! And so does that gorgeous golden hour light. Everything aligned perfectly for an unforgettable engagement session that Sunday afternoon, at Waneka Lake!
They were high school sweethearts and will soon be Mr. and Mrs!
Inna and Nathan, you are beautiful people, inside and out! Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your engagement session, I had a blast! I see lost of great memories in your future! I think I’ve known you, Nathan, since you and Michael were in middle school and now you’re getting married! And, just in case you’ve forgotten, Michael is going to claim credit for helping get the two of you together for a long, long time. You two have gone from high school sweethearts, to engaged, and soon to be Mr. and Mrs! I can’t wait to spend your wedding day with you next week.
