Emilia’s Birthday Mini Session at Thomas Reservoir

Emilia

I may have said this many times, Ilia, and every time it’s true… I love taking photos of Emilia. In fact, now that she’s talking, I love it even more.

Can you believe that it has been 36 months, almost to the day, since we were at Thomas Reservoir for your maternity session? That “your bump” in those photos is your soon to be three-year-old daughter?

I think it’s quite incredible.

I’ve lost track of the number of times I photographed Emilia since then. But I remember the first time like it was yesterday. She was barely two days old, teeny tiny, and certainly not shy to make her presence known.

And look at her now. Dressed up in her princess birthday shirt, colorful tutu, sparkly shoes, and matching hair bow. Twirling, “skipping”, and strutting her stuff.

You’re building a wonderful treasure trove of memories for your children. Celebrating each new year with traditions that let them know just how special they are.

A very happy 3rd birthday to Emilia, your sweet and sassy dream come true!

Here are a few of my favorite moments from Emilia’s 3rd birthday mini session. Enjoy.

xo, Theresa

P.S. I love that I have a front row seat and get to experience Emilia’s personality as it blossoms. She’s a delight! I can’t wait to see which of her photos goes up on your family gallery wall.

Gear used during this fall mini session: Think Tank Backstory 13, Canon 5D Mark IV, and Canon EF 50mm 1.2L.
