Mallaney’s Senior Session at Callahan House

Mallaney

One of the best parts of my job is capturing important milestones, like a student’s senior year. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Mallaney, a senior at Centaurus High School. She’s not just any student, but an all-rounder, excelling in sports, art, and academics.

Mallaney is a dynamic young lady. She plays volleyball for her high school team and also enjoys creating art. When she’s not studying or playing sports, you can find her hanging out with her friends or working as a nanny.

Her parents are incredibly proud of her and have loved watching her grow into a kind and thoughtful woman who has a playful, loving spirit. They’ve always encouraged her to aim high and reach her goals.

After high school, Mallaney plans to attend college, preferably somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. She hasn’t chosen a major yet, but she’s sure she wants to minor in Spanish. And she hopes to use her summer breaks to travel, maybe through a study abroad program.

For her senior photo session, we chose the gardens at Callahan House. She wanted her photos to have lots of flowers. She got her wish; the roses were in full bloom.

Mallaney and her

As a fun fact, Mallaney and I know each other from kickboxing classes. So, it was really fun to connect with her outside of class and get to see a different side of her. And I also got to know her cousin, Maddie, who is also a senior at Centaurus High School. They scheduled their Stacked Senior Sessions together, so it seemed right to get a few photos of them together to celebrate the occasion.

The transition from high school to college is a big deal, and I’m glad I could capture these moments for Mallaney. Here’s a look at some of the wonderful shots from her senior photography session. Enjoy!
