The Weil Family

Boulder in-home family photography

January in Colorado is nothing if not unpredictable. Days of snow, freezing temperatures, and icy wind can be followed by warm, sunny weather. You just never know. On the day of the Weil family’s in-home family photography session, we hit the jackpot. It was a glorious winter afternoon in Boulder. After spending some time indoors, capturing adorable moments brimming with love and laughter, we were able to head outdoors for some fun shots with snow in the background.

It’s the little things

What I’ve learned, as the mother of boys, is that boys have a lot of energy. Some days it may seem endless. The like to run, climb, and play. But they LOVE to be tossed in the air, spun in a circle, or turned upside down. Two-year-old Felix checked off all the boxes. The look of sheer delight on his cute little face is priceless! Dad enjoyed himself, too. With the arrival of a new baby brother, they’ll be having twice the fun–in no time at all!

Jess and Page, first of all, congratulations on the birth of your second baby boy! He is adorable! I’m so grateful to the Portillo family for recommending me to you after their newborn session. It’s a blessing to have a close-knit group of friends like them to spend time with. Thank you for inviting me into your cozy, love-filled home to capture these memories for you! It was a treat to hear all about your trip to South Africa. You were very brave to go diving with sharks–no way would I ever do that!! I hope to hear all about your next great adventure. Here are some of my favorite moments from your in-home family session. Enjoy! xo, Theresa
